Lanterns
What are the lanterns made of?
Cloth and concrete, handmade in Estonia. Every face is drawn and cut by hand, and every lantern is one of a kind. A concrete pumpkin won’t rot like a real one.
Do I get exactly the lantern in the photo?
Yes. Every lantern is one of a kind and the photos on its page are of that very lantern. There won’t be another with the same face.
What light should I put inside?
The lantern is open at the top, so the light goes in from above. An ordinary tealight candle is fine: the concrete shell doesn’t burn or melt. On a windy evening outdoors, a battery LED tealight won’t blow out. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Can I leave the lantern outdoors?
For an evening on the steps or in the garden, yes, preferably somewhere sheltered. How long it withstands rain and frost: [KINNITA: outdoor care advice].
How big and heavy is a lantern?
Each lantern’s size and weight are listed on its page. Concrete is heavy, so the lanterns stand firmly.
Ordering and payment
How do I order?
Pick a lantern, add it to your basket and complete the order at checkout: enter your details and choose delivery. Right after ordering you see the invoice and payment details, and the same invoice arrives by e-mail.
How do I pay?
By invoice and bank transfer. The lantern is reserved for you for 72 hours. Please use the reference number on the invoice. There are no card payments or bank links.
What if I don’t pay in time?
If no payment arrives during the reservation, the order expires and the lantern goes back on sale. You owe us nothing.
Can I buy as a company?
Yes. Tick “I’m buying as a company” at checkout and enter the company name and registry code; the invoice is then made out to the company.
When should I order to have the lantern for Halloween?
Order by 26 October. Halloween is on 31 October.
Delivery and returns
Where do you deliver?
To a parcel locker anywhere in Estonia (€3.34–€7.26, depending on the parcel size and carrier), by courier to your door (€14.19) or you can collect it. For now we deliver in Estonia only.
When will the lantern arrive?
We ship the lantern within 2 working days of your payment arriving. We’ll e-mail you when it ships, with a tracking code.
What if the lantern arrives broken?
Take photos of the packaging and the lantern right away and write to us. Where possible we offer a similar lantern or a refund.
Can I return a lantern?
Yes, when buying online you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive it. The buyer pays the return cost.
